artsy fartsy

before the birth of the lemur, m and i decided to purchase a new camera. we got a kodak z650, with 6.1 megapixels and 10x optical zoom. it also has fun features that allow you to take pictures in black and white or sepia tones, and takes video clips too!

our midwives actually recommend that pictures of the birth be taken in black and white, to make them a bit less gory. i can see that. so i have been practicing in advance of the lemur's arrival. here's a shot of m's big belly, 32 weeks pregnant.

pretty impressive belly and pretty impressive photography skills, i think. only 8 weeks left to go! oh my!

Nice shot! Nice belly! I have a kodak too and love it. The videos are such a great feature! Especially for sharing with distant family, which you guys have!
I can't wait to see the lemur!!!

Impressive abdomen and photography skills. As source of further inspiration, I recommmend you review the work of Annie Leibovitz of Demi Moore featured on the cover of Vanity Fair. I understand that when the photo was published in August of 1991 it created quite a stir prompting both Demi and Annie to apologize for offending other's fragile sensitivities. We're 15 years out from that event, and it may be time to offend sensibilities again.

Cheers,
