i am so tired. so so tired.

After only 5 days of respite, our teething monster is back. His lower right tooth is now almost through the gum. And it is making Signal a very miserable boy.

He is in pain, and there's lots of drooling. In a new development, his nose is now running. And oh, the sleep disruptions. Signal generally falls asleep at around 9:00pm, and will sleep until about 4:00am when he wakes for a feeding. Then it's back down to sleep until about 7:30am. But when he's teething, that's out the window. Last night he fell asleep at 10:00pm, and woke up at 12:30am, 3:00am, 4:00am and was up for the day at 6:30am. Gak.

We feel really bad for him that there's so little we can do. Hopefully we'll get a little break between his lower teeth and his upper two. We'll be sure to keep you updated.

Here we are, just before bed last night. He had finally fallen asleep, and as you can see, I was pretty sleepy too. We ALL went to bed at 10:00. Sigh. Sometimes being a parent is hard work. Hee hee. As if you didn't know that already.

"Damn you, Incisor!!!"

The Whole Foods / Trader Joes organic homeopathic teething gel seemed to work pretty well when the first niece started teething. Not sure what the Canukle equivalent is, but I'm sure you can find something!

Hang in there!
