holiday jam

On Sunday when we were essentially snowed into our apartment, Ru and Signal took some time out in the afternoon to jam to The Chieftains' Christmas album called The Bells of Dublin. It is our family's favourite holiday music, since it combines the best of Celtic music and holiday music. The two of them spent a good long while banging and clanging and dancing and singing right along with The Chieftains.

In the first video, Ru and Signal rock it to St. Stephen's Day Murders.

And here, the session takes on a softer tone, as they "gong" to the McGarrigle sisters singing Ca Berger.

It's good to know that all of the music I listened to while pregnant seems to have had a positive effect on Signal's appreciation of song and dance.
