We here in the GTA are bracing for our first major storm of the season. According to the Government of Canada's weather service reports, we could be getting as much as 30cm in some areas of southern Ontario. The snow has already started falling, and isn't due to stop until late tomorrow.

Weather forecasters are using words like "near-crippling" and are referring to the coming snowfall as "copious." They have said that it may be impossible to drive on roads that haven't been plowed, because the snow is going to be too darn deep!

Right now I am just happy that we don't have anything we really need to get done tomorrow. Ru doesn't have to go to work, and nearly all of our shopping is done. We have postponed our trip to MEC until Wednesday night.

We'll be sure to keep everyone updated with pictures. Warmth and safety to everyone in southern Ontario!
