Here, as promised, are pictures from last night's after supper walk. We headed out from the building and across the street to the high school, where we did our customary loop all the way around. We started out in the front, having fun on the grass and playing "up and down" on the stairs.
Then we headed around the back, where Signal pointed out all of the numbers painted on the parking spaces. That's one of his new favourite activities. Signal also likes the back of the school because there's a big grassy soccer field perfect for running. Unfortunately there were kids out there actually playing soccer last night, so he had to content himself with the numbers painted on the back parking spaces.
Once we made it around to the side of the school, Signal and his Oma had some fun checking the grass for 4 leaf clovers. I think that they only saw 3 leaf clovers, but they had fun digging through the grass none the less. And then last but not least it was through the side parking lot and back across the street to home. Of course, there was much "1, 2, 3" swinging to be done on that last leg. Sometimes I think that Signal only walks all the way around the school so he can fly through the air home at the end of it all.
