signal the builder

The other day Signal was having some fun with his wooden blocks, and I actually managed to get some pictures of him playing. I was rather excited by this, since he is going through a bit of a phase now where if you take out the camera, he either runs over and tries to take it from you so he can take pictures, or he looks off into the distance suddenly disinterested in whatever he was up to. It was nice to actually get some shots of him genuinely engaged in his little activity, having fun with his toys.

Green cylinder here.

Green rectangle there.

As you can see from some of the photos, he's become rather skilled at stacking things. Yes, some of the blocks I stacked up for him. But he did the majority of them by himself, without knocking anything over. I was pretty impressed!

Now let's move the blue cylinder from here...

to over here!

He has a bit of a one-track mind. So when he puts his mind to something, it gets done. Of course, when it comes to climbing the furniture, that isn't always a good thing.

Too cute!! I think he has M's look of concentration on his face in that fourth picture - turtle anyone??

Remember also that when D was little they nicknamed her turtle for the same reason. Family airs?

Love....
