Well, I'm going to go ahead and admit right now that our meal plan for this week lacks a whole lot of imagination or effort. There is a good reason for that, however. This Thursday, Ru is having all four of her wisdom teeth removed. The poor girl is going to be going under general anesthetic for the first time ever, and I'm sure that after having all those teeth out it'll take her a while to get back on track with the whole eating thing. I'm seeing a lot of pudding and jello and broth in her future. As such, most meals this week are going to be just for Signal and I. Since I am only cooking for two and also will be looking after Signal and Ru, I want to keep it simple. Here goes.
Monday - Leftover chicken, fries, cucumbers and tomatoes
Tuesday - BBQ beef satay, rice, snow peas
Wednesday - Steak, asparagus, roasted potatoes
Thursday - Texican chili (leftovers from the freezer), garlic bread
Friday - Green pea soup, naan
Saturday - Takeout
Sunday - Spaghetti with turkey sausage, garlic bread
We may end up switching Saturday and Sunday's meals, depending on how Ru is feeling, as Sunday is our 6th wedding anniversary. 6 years! How'd that happen?
